Our new Web site

We'd like to announce the launch of our new Web site, lang9400.com

It's got online tools, news, information, and other resources for Guild members - including the lang9400.com forums. The forums have much more depth than a blog comment system.

Registration is free and painless, and registered users will be able to post their own discussion topics - but certain areas are for Guild members only!

Stop by and check it out, and stay tuned for more information on upcoming events!

Looks good. My brother put together a similar website from scratch over Labor Day weekend. Isn't technology beautiful?!

i like the minimalist look to the page. there's no clutter of southland media news from the press-telegram or daily news. ---joe

Looks pretty good to me. Glad we finally have our own website. It should have more local content but I guess when there's something to report it'll be here, right? BTW: is the local maintaing the site?

Thanks for the compliments folks. It's been a lot of work, but we're pretty proud of the final product.

The local maintains the Web site and the blog, but we rely on our members, like the bargaining team, for a lot of the local content. I know we'd all like to see more locally-focused news, but everyone's stretched pretty thin by LANG's staffing decisions so please just bear with us and understand that they're doing their best. Whenever there's news to report, we'll get it online as quickly as possible.
